While I know it doesn’t feel like it today but spring is here!! I’ve had quite a few people asking when we will be opening up for the year. I’ll be available on Saturdays from 9-5pm, by appointment on Sundays and weeknights after 5pm until the last week of April. Appointments can be made on Our Facebook PageThe last week of April we will resume our regular hours and appointments aren’t necessary. If you drive by and the barn door is up feel free to stop without an appointment, as I’ll be working in the nursery. While most perennials are still asleep its prime time for planting berry bushes. This is the time of year I offer up a large selection of fruiting plants Including Honeyberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Lingonberries, gooseberries, elder berries, Nanking cherry, service berry, jersey giant asparagus, rhubarb, and strawberries. As always I have small flowering shrubs like Forsythia, ninebark, weigela, Miss Kim Lilac, various evergreen shrubs and screening plants, oak seedlings, and many other items too numerous to mention. Most things I have in pretty good quantities but some Items I only keep a few in stock. As is usual all my plants in trade gallon pots or smaller are only $5.97. Unfortunately I will be raising my prices after July 1st to $6.97 due to increased costs for potting soil, fertilizer and pots.
